SMS Alert Consent and STOP / HELP
By signing up for the free hurricane alert service, you provide your name, email, and mobile phone number and consent to receive SMS storm alerts. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies with storm activity. You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help. Your carrier may charge standard messaging rates.
Alert Form Data
The free hurricane alert signup form collects your name, email, and phone number. This information is used solely for the purpose of sending you storm alerts when a storm forms or threatens the US coast. We do not use your contact details for marketing, and we do not share, sell, or rent your information to third parties.
Third-Party Maps and Imagery
The site embeds interactive maps from Windy.com and displays satellite and outlook imagery from NOAA and the National Hurricane Center. These third-party services may set their own cookies or collect usage data when the embedded content loads in your browser.
